Men’s Back Shaver – Why You Need The Bakblade 2.0

A men’s back shaver is a must-have grooming product if you prefer not to sport the Silver-Back gorilla look.

I love products that are dead easy to use, have very few working parts, and don’t need electricity or batteries.

Just like my Groom Mate Nose hair trimmer, the Bakblade 2.0 Plus back shaver, ticks all these boxes!

As you would expect it has a long (18 inches) ergonomic, foldable handle, so you can reach those tricky areas of your back.

Two or Three Blade Cutting System

I’m not sure whether having 2 or 3 blades over just the one makes much difference to someone like me who doesn’t have a ‘shag-pile carpet’ for a back.

If you do have such a feature, then you’ll certainly benefit from the extra blades, especially if your hair is coarse. If so, you definitely want to get the Bakblade 2.0 Plus Elite with its extra cutting blade.

Now you might be thinking these blades are gunna give you a rash, going in dry! You’ll be wrong my friend.. these bad boys have a patented Dryglide technology that prevents this.

Wet or dry, they remove your back hair very easily and without irritation.

If you do have sensitive skin, then you can use the brush/exfoliator that comes with the Elite version. To be honest, I can’t see that being used much.

As you would expect, the blades will need replacing after a while. The blade cartridge easily slides out and you swap the cartridge with a new one.

You’re probably going to replace your blades every 5 or 6 shaves. Obviously, this will depend on how thick and coarse your hair is.

Detachable

Not much is made of this feature, but I think it’s really useful to be able to remove the head and use it like a hand brush.

That way you can shave your chest and arm hair much easier.
